Attingal: The town witnessed two demonstrations in today evening. The first one was the Ganesha procession of RSS-Shivasena workers. They looked like shouting “zindabads” to Lord Ganesha. There were only a handful of people, carrying a Ganesha idol. So, to the relief of the commuters, traffic was not disturbed. The commuters would have thanked Lord Ganesha for that. The second one was a demonstration by Bank Employees Federation of India (BEFI). A few beefy bank employees were seen keenly listening to a fiery speech by one of their leaders. The speech was sprinkled with English quotations and contained some demands for the betterment of bank employees.
